TIP! Don’t use a golf cart to go from one hole to another. Walk instead.

If you would like a way to have a relaxing, fun time, golf is for you. Golf is much easier to play if you read and study tips and information about the sport.

TIP! You must learn a correct grip as soon as you begin playing golf. The most common problem when trying to hit the ball far is they tend to have a hard grip on the club.

Doing so enables you to determine your proper and most successful stance. While proper stance is important, it won’t be the same for everyone. It will vary based on your height, build and sometimes even gender. However, taking the time to find this ideal stance will do wonders for the rest of your game.

TIP! Giving your toes a wiggle can tell you a lot about your posture when you are ready for a golf swing. If you can wiggle your toes easily, you are probably leaning too far away from your ball.

Use your body, and channel energy to get a good swing. Beginning golfers often assume that the swing is all in the arms, but if you use only the strength in your arms, then your drives will literally come up short. You’ll find you are much more effective in accomplishing your purpose if you put your whole body into your swing.

TIP! The true power for a swing comes from using the entire body, including leg and trunk muscles. Draw your power from your leg muscles pushing the ground away, and swing yourself like a whip when you swing.

Wiggling your toes will help to get a better sense of your posture as you prepare to swing your golf club. If you have free movement of your feet without any problems, then you may be too far from the ball. Try leaning toward the ball so much that you can still move your feet a little, but not a lot.

TIP! Mental preparation is as important as physical preparation in a golf game. Try to take out any outside concerns and put your focus on your swing.

You may hear the term “sweet spot” when discussing golf clubs. This is the area on the club face that reaps the best results when striking the ball. Pracitce using your clubs until you become familiar with the “sweet spot” of each one. Remember, you should strike the ball with this “sweet spot” at the very end of a downward swing.

Stretch before playing and stay hydrated. Taking care of yourself is always important, but it can also help you improve your game.

TIP! Make sure you are playing with others of your level to keep your confidence up. When you just learning to play, challenge beginner-level courses, and take other beginners with you when you play.

Carry a snack which is high in protein on the course with you. Golf requires physical energy and mental energy. Eating a protein-rich snack can help you maintain mental focus, as well as helping you avoid problems with muscle fatigue.

TIP! When you hit the ball, the club’s face needs to be square to it. The ball will go on a straight trajectory.

Being mentally and physically prepared is vital to golf. Whatever stressful situations you’re dealing with should be left at home. While you’re on the course, your mind needs to be free and clear.

TIP! One way to keep your motivation about golf is to simply make the game as fun as you can. Ask other for advice, practice often, and you can improve your game.

Despite what you may hear, keep the ball in the same position for all shots. Doing so makes your stance mentally ingrained for physical consistency. Change the position of your feet in order to alter the loft, instead of trying to chance the ball position. This ensures that you will be using the proper club for any situation that you may encounter.

TIP! Relax and control your breathing before taking a shot. This help you concentrate and address the ball calmly.

By now, you should feel a bit more confident about your golf game. As with anything else, the more information you learn, the easier it will be to become better at what you are doing.

I know your a busy man so I'll keep this short. If I ever meet you in person I'll KISS you!!!!! You have saved my golf game. I've been playing for 2 years and in the beginning I found it very easy. In less than 9 months I was a 14 and it was looking like it was going to continue to go down. Then I hit a wall, that little ball started to go right, and then it went further right, then even further right..... I was losing massive distance as well, 3 clubs. I fought with it for ages.  Well I'm now 4 months into my new swing and I shot a 77 yesterday. You absolute beauty!!!! 15 of 18 greens, what a game!!!!! Your mental course is magnificent, coupled with the draw system I can now play golf on a level I never thought possible.

"My fairway woods are now much more consistent in distance and much straighter, both off the tee and from the fairway. Also my mid iron shots are more consistent than in the past.

This system helped me to learn to put all the pieces together to know what a good swing should feel like. Whereas in the past someone might give me a good piece of advice, but I never had it in the context of a whole solid swing. And now I'm finally gaining confidence with my swing.

The instructions were easy to follow. The pictures added a lot of clarity to what you were looking to emulate. The "Draw" System gives you a step by step approach to building a good, solid, repeatable golf swing. All the drills are geared towards that singular goal of producing a swing that will produce a draw.

I've seen a lot of the drills used in The "Draw" System, but this is the first time where I've seen all the drills tied together in order to produce the "whole" good swing. And I'm finally learning what a good swing should feel like, (after years of unsuccessful guessing), and can try to recreate that sensation on the course.

I enjoy playing golf more now because I can actually start aiming at where I want to hit the ball. And I'm having a lot more fun actually hitting a lot more often from the fairway!

A very good, useful book! Thanks for compiling all the information and drills to help me understand and incorporate the swing mechanics in order to produce a draw."
