TIP! Doing this will allow you to zero in on the stance that helps you hit the ball most accurately. Proper stance is essential, but it does vary by individual height, size, body frame and even gender.

Are you a novice golfer? If you are totally confused and clueless about learning the game of golf or any of its individual aspects, you are by no means alone. This is a rational feeling and the solutions are below. Read the following tips about golf.

TIP! It is a good idea to skip the golf cart and walk the course when you are golfing. Walking from one hole to another gives you extra exercise, thus supplementing the health benefits of playing golf.

Doing this will aid you in learning what stance is a good fit for you. Proper stance is key, but it can vary depending on your height, size, and even gender. Taking the time to perfect your stance will greatly lower your average score.

TIP! A helpful tip when it comes to golf is to consider checking with a golf professional before buying a new club or set of clubs. This is a good idea because a pro will be able to analyze your swing and stance to see what clubs are likely to improve your game the most.

Wiggling your toes can help you figure out how good your posture is before you take a golf swing. If you have no trouble moving your feet, then you need to reduce the angle at which you are leaning relative to the ball. Lean forward, toward the ball. You should still be able to move your feet slightly.

TIP! Learning to use your body as part of your golfing strategy can produce marked improvements in your score. Your entire body is needed to truly power your shots.

Above all, remember not to take your golf game too seriously. Certain errors can occur and laughing at these errors will relax you, so you can refocus on the game.

TIP! Use your body for more power behind your swing. Amateur golfers think the strength comes from their arms, but using just your arms makes for an awkward, weak swing.

If you’re faced with a long putt, you need to focus your concentration to speed when hitting the ball. Don’t aim for the hole, instead aim for a point between yourself and your goal which lies on the way to the hole. This ensures you don’t overshoot the hole and your next putt is simple to make.

TIP! Don’t hold your club too tightly or too loosely. If you hold your golf club too tight, your shots will have a tendency to veer off to the right.

If possible, when trying to improve your golf game, play with golfers who are experienced so you can pick up on their techniques. Even though you will feel the sting of losing, the game will be a learning experience for you. Do not assume that you can only learn from a professional player; anyone you usually play with could teach you something. Just watching a good player carefully can help you learn strategies you might never have thought of on your own, which will improve your play.

TIP! Be certain you are standing correctly to get the right golf swing. This position can help you determine how far the ball will go.

All of your muscles, in particular trunk and legs, need to be involved in order to achieve a powerful swing. Swing your body around like a whip as you swing, and draw power from your legs pushing against the ground.

TIP! Before you begin your swing, be sure to hold the golf club in the correct way. Try to make sure that the handle rests on the palm of your hand with your thumbs facing down.

Line up both feet correctly before every shot. This is important if you wish to have a better golf swing. You want to set your feet up perpendicular to your target. One common way to make sure your feet are in alignment with where you want to hit the ball is to lay your club in a way that it is touching the toes on both your feet.

TIP! Refrain from using a unnatural stance. Try addressing your ball without your club.

Golf may be full of nuance, but it is not needlessly complicated. You can play casual, relaxed games or play for fun, rather than just to win. Now that you’re more informed, go out there and play!

Don’t just take our word for it!

"I have picked up golf seriously at the age of 43. The "Draw" System has enabled me to understand what goes wrong with what I do to a golf ball and make corrections. Having this knowledge has me playing with a 19 handicap after only playing for a short while. It helped me understand the game better.

When I started playing my shots landed anywhere except where I was aiming. I am now getting my shots to go where I am aiming more regularly. Just yesterday, I hit a 141-yard shots on a par 3 and it landed 6 feet away from the hole. Three months ago that would never have happened.

The instructions and the pictures are wonderful. The instructions are concise and descriptive. Combined with the pictures, it promotes easy understanding. The pictures help the most."

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."
