TIP! Don’t take golf too seriously. Things are bound to go wrong from time to time, so you need to learn to laugh at your mistakes.

Are you new to the sport of golf? If you are lost at how to play, then you are most definitely not alone. It is normal to feel this way but you can find out below how to fix this. The below article will start your game on the right foot!

TIP! Put your left hand before the ball while putting. Maintain this position while you complete your swing.

Get advice from a professional if you want to buy clubs. A golf professional will know the most about the different clubs available, and can offer up advice on which clubs best fit your swing type.

TIP! So make sure you are properly hydrated, and before you tee off, make sure you properly warm up. Keeping your body fit will allow you to get the most out of your ability.

You can get a lot of help you in your golf game from your body. The power of your swing is created through the use of your entire body. Learn how to take advantage of all of your body’s strength as you swing. When your shot is powered by your body, you can usually get more distance without having to use as much power from your arms.

TIP! Learn the rules of golf and how to record your score properly. This is vital for the reason that your score is considered to be representative of your skill as a golfer.

One of the first things you will want to address when learning how to play golf is your grip. Quite a few people correlate a hard grip with being able to hit a ball further. Grip your club softly but firmly. Hold the club with a very delicate grip, as if you were holding a baby bird or a child.

TIP! Use a neutral grip on your golf club. If you hold the club too tightly, your golf shots are going to probably go off towards the right.

Don’t take golf too seriously. Things are bound to go wrong from time to time, so you need to learn to laugh at your mistakes. This will help you recover more quickly and relax so you can get on with your game.

TIP! Keep proper alignment with your feet. This is among the most effective things that you can to get a better golf swing.

Understanding how golf scores are kept is a good tip to know. This is because your player ranking is based on your score. Each time the ball is hit, it is counted as one stroke. The number of strokes you take to land the ball into a targeted hole will determine your score for that hole. The less strokes it takes to get the ball in the hole, the better your score.

TIP! A good stance is the foundation of every golf shot. The position you have usually dictates the distance your golf ball travels.

A good swing is backed by the strength and motion of the whole body as rooted in your core and legs. Push down with your legs while you throw your body forward and through your club.

TIP! Buying a golf club is an investment, so consider having it custom-fitted to you. Every person has a different weight, height and body structure, so a golf club that works exceptionally well for one player, may be difficult for another player to use.

If you want to eat while on the course, try a light snack that is packed with proteins, such as nuts. When played properly, golf can be both mentally and physically challenging. The snack will provide you with protein to assist you in keeping your focus on the game.

TIP! Inspect your golf clubs before buying them. The club head is especially important; don’t buy clubs without checking the heads for wear.

Now you can see that golf doesn’t have to be as difficult to learn as you may have thought. It actually is a very leisurely sport. Now that you have read this article, your understanding of the game is improved, so head out to the course or driving range and give these tips a try!

Don’t just take our word for it!

"The "Draw" System has improved my consistency. I am able to keep my drives on the fairway with more distance which makes my second shot easier while approaching the green.

The biggest benefits The "Draw" System has done for my game is to increase distance and accuracy with all shots. The "Draw" System has increased my distance on all shots by 15 to 30 yards! Thirty yards with the driver all the way down to 15 with the sand wedge.

What I liked the best about The "Draw" System is that it works! I have tried all types of gadgets and read tips from all different magazines as well as taken lessons. None of them worked. Not until I found The "Draw" System.

I have seen different systems which claim to fix your golf slice but none of these have worked for me. The "Draw" System works! In it are easy to follow instructions and there are very good pictures for a visual explanation to go along with the print.

I enjoy playing golf more since completing The "Draw" System because I can predict where my shots are going instead of wondering where my shots will end up. Thank You!!!"

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."
