TIP! Use your entire body to power your golf swing. Beginning golfers rely too much on their arms for swinging power, which causes them not to hit all that far.

Golf is more than a game in which you try to hit a ball into 18 small holes. It’s a form of art. To hit a golf ball requires strength in your upper body. In addition, you must remain patient and work on shot accuracy to make your shots go where you want them to. The following tips are designed to help you better your golf skills.

TIP! Exercise your toes to figure out faults in your stance when golfing. If you are leaning in too far over the ball, you will have difficulty wiggling your toes.

Consider walking the golf course, rather than using a cart. This is very beneficial to your health as you will be increasing your exercise on the course. This will also help your muscles stay warm and your body stay loose.

TIP! To ensure your posture is correct, wiggle your toes. If you have free movement of your feet without any problems, then you may be too far from the ball.

You must learn a correct grip as soon as you begin playing golf. It is very common for players to tighten their grip on a club, hoping it helps them hit the ball even farther. The best grip is actually soft, yet firm. Hold the club as if you are holding a bird.

TIP! Not trying to be too perfect will help you as you learn the game of golf. Mistakes will happen and you should laugh at them to remain calm.

One way you can ascertain if you potentially have faults in your golf stance is to utilize an easy toe-wiggling exercise. You should be able to wiggle your toes easily; if you can’t do so, you’re leaning too far forward. A golfer should lean back to the point where their feet gives them proper posture.

Sweet Spot

TIP! Play with more experienced or skilled players and pay careful attention to what they do every time they take a shot. There are plenty of ways that you can benefit from a talented golfer.

The sweet spot on a club is where the ball meets with it, and is then launched with perfect accuracy. Take the time to recognize where this ‘sweet spot’ can be found on each of your clubs in order to maximize your game.

TIP! When you take a grasp on the handle of your club, make sure not to favor one hand over the other. Holding your club too tightly when you swing will usually make your shots turn right instead of going straight.

Whenever you are staring down a long putt, make sure to focus first on the speed necessary to get close to the hole. As opposed to aiming at the hole, look at the putt and shoot for a target. This strategy will likely shorten the distance required of your second putt.

Make sure you stretch and stay hydrated. Taking care of yourself is always important, but it can also help you improve your game.

TIP! Snacks are important during the game, but it’s recommended to bring something with a high protein value, such as nuts. Golf exhausts you both mentally and physically.

Make sure that you line your feet up correctly. This is perhaps the simplest and most effective way to improve your swing. Your goal is to make sure that your feel are actually perpendicular to where you want any ball you’re hitting to travel. You can check this easily by placing the club up to your toes so that it points where the ball can travel.

TIP! The back of the front fooT should be aligned with the ball during your drive. This is contrary to how you line up other shots, when the ball should be almost equally between your feet.

With dedication and knowledge, anyone can learn to enjoy golf; when you take these qualities to the next level, you can actually become quite skilled. Now that you know more about the sport, you can become a better golfer too.

"Before I started your "Draw" System I had a slice. Since following your day by day instructions, I now hit the fairway much more often with a slight fade or draw when I get it right! As a result I have gone from hitting 220-230 yards to hitting 250-280 yards.

I found the instructions easy to follow. It brought me along at the right speed in learning the system correctly without rushing. The step by step system I found left you excited to want to learn that step so you could move on to the next.

It has improved my distance off the tee (a good 50 yards +) and helped me with my swing more importantly. Which has improved my whole game and as a result I hit straighter with more consistency. It has taken me to a new level in my golf game.

It was easy to follow learning at your own speed. It was almost like having a golf pro right there with you. Anytime you can improve at something you can always enjoy it better, especially when you see yourself improving from day to day. I am and would recommend this system to everyone who wants to improve their game."

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."
