TIP! One way you can ascertain if you potentially have faults in your golf stance is to utilize an easy toe-wiggling exercise. If the golfer finds this act difficult as he prepares to swing, he is leaning unreasonably forward and into the ball.

Golf has been around since the early years of the 15th century. Over years the sport has really evolved, yet it is still relaxing and a great leisure sport. The information provided here will give you ideas that will change your game for the better.

TIP! Wiggling your toes can tell you much about your posture as you are getting ready to take a golf swing. You may be leaning in the wrong direction if you can easily move your feet, so don’t distance yourself so much from the ball.

There is no magic formula, so you will need to find out for yourself what works well for you. It’s crucial to have a good stance, but what stance works, depends on your overall size, height and gender. When you find the proper stance for you, your game will improve.

Sweet Spot

TIP! If possible, play with good players and watch their techniques. You can benefit from the experience of your fellow golfers in more ways than one.

Every club contains a “sweet spot,” which is where the face will strike the ball with greatest accuracy. Take the time to recognize where this ‘sweet spot’ can be found on each of your clubs in order to maximize your game.

TIP! If you are seeking power from your swing, focus on building a strong core and solid legs. While you swing keep your upper body loose, and try to generate your swing’s power from your mid-section and legs.

Give every shot 100% of your attention. Don’t let the success or lack thereof from previous shots or upcoming hazards break your focus. Dwelling on mistakes is going to affect your game negatively. Stay focused, and move on.

For this reason, stretch before you play and drink plenty of water. Staying in shape can really improve your golf game.

TIP! Align your front heel with the ball before you swing with your driver. But for other swings, the ball should be at a median point between your right and left foot.

It’s a good idea to have light, high-protein snacks, such as nuts, handy when playing golf. Golf can make one both mentally and physically tired. When you eat a good snack all of that protein can keep your body and mind energized and free from fatigue so that you can concentrate on your game.

TIP! Consider getting a custom fit for a golf club before you purchase one. Every golfer is proportioned differently, so a club that hits like a champ for golfer A, may leave golfer B hitting into the rough.

For a drive swing, align the ball with your front foot. During any other swing, the golf ball should be almost dead center between your feet when you swing. If you are on a slope, then it shouldn’t be centered.

TIP! When looking at used clubs, you must look at the head. Greatly used clubs are likely to have a shiny worn down spot on them.

Check your grip on the club before you make your swing. Your thumbs should be pointing downward while the handle rests on your palms. You two hands need to touch each other. Make sure you are choking up on your club if you desire to hit your ball longer distances.

TIP! A proper grip is the first thing to learn. Place the handle on your palms, and point your thumbs down.

Don’t get used to trying to assume unnatural stances. Try practicing your stance without a club in your hand. Assume a posture where you are bent a little forward at waist and knees. See if your arms are in a good position to swing the club. Hold your hands together as you maintain this stance. This is what a natural position is, so if you don’t feel comfortable with it, you are most likely overcompensating the position.

TIP! Try to be as natural as possible with your stances..

When you are squared into position to take a swing at the ball, try to give your hips a swing as you move, so that you are distributing your body weight from your back foot, onto your front foot. In this way, you will increase the force of the swing and your ball will go farther.

There are many reasons why golf has maintained its appeal for decades. Now, it is up to you to apply this advice to your game.

Don’t just take our word for it!

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."

"Before I started your "Draw" System I had a slice. Since following your day by day instructions, I now hit the fairway much more often with a slight fade or draw when I get it right! As a result I have gone from hitting 220-230 yards to hitting 250-280 yards.

I found the instructions easy to follow. It brought me along at the right speed in learning the system correctly without rushing. The step by step system I found left you excited to want to learn that step so you could move on to the next.

It has improved my distance off the tee (a good 50 yards +) and helped me with my swing more importantly. Which has improved my whole game and as a result I hit straighter with more consistency. It has taken me to a new level in my golf game.

It was easy to follow learning at your own speed. It was almost like having a golf pro right there with you. Anytime you can improve at something you can always enjoy it better, especially when you see yourself improving from day to day. I am and would recommend this system to everyone who wants to improve their game."
