TIP! Before you spend a few hundred on a new set of clubs, ask a professional what sort of clubs might work for you. Take their advice, and always research the newest innovations and try a wide variety of golf clubs before deciding which ones to purchase.

Country clubs across the world offer serene, inviting atmospheres of well-manicured greens. So if you think you want to step up your golf game, then you’ve come to the right place. Use the following tips to help your game out.

TIP! Think of your body as a tool for your game. Your body is the power source, not only your arms.

A good tip to improve your golf swing is to use your whole body for power. Amateurs often think that power comes from the arms alone. The reality is that if you rely solely on your arms, your swing will be weak and awkward. Your whole body’s movements must be synchronized to produce a great swing of the club.

Sweet Spot

TIP! Use your entire body to power your golf swing. Beginners believe that the strength in their swing comes solely from the arms, but the truth is that using only your arms will give you a very weak shot.

Each of your golf clubs will have its own “sweet spot”, a spot where, if you strike the ball with a great swing, you will get nearly perfect accuracy. Pracitce using your clubs until you become familiar with the “sweet spot” of each one. Remember, you should strike the ball with this “sweet spot” at the very end of a downward swing.

TIP! Try to golf with better players and take note of what they do. Even though you will feel the sting of losing, the game will be a learning experience for you.

Be sure you are using appropriate posture to maximize the impact of your golf swing. Your posture usually determines the distance the ball will travel. If you are not bending over enough, or too much, your ball will not travel that far.

TIP! Stretch before playing and stay hydrated. Golfing proficiency can be acquired through proper self care.

You cannot swing if you are not holding your club correctly. Make sure the handle is resting against your palms while your thumbs point downward. Your two hands should touch each other. If you are looking for distance, grip the club in higher position.

TIP! Your feet must be lined up in the correct way. This is perhaps the simplest and most effective way to improve your swing.

Don’t angle the face of your club when driving. The ball is more likely to move in a straight trajectory if you use this technique. Not squaring your club with the ball will cause it to go in a direction you didn’t intend it to go in. Try different grips and stances until you can hit the ball perpendicular to the club every time.

TIP! The back of the front fooT should be aligned with the ball during your drive. The golf ball must be central and in between your feet during your swings.

Instead of struggling and making a big deal about the problem at hand, try to have a good idea for working around it. You might find that the problem works to your advantage or that others view it as a personal quirk that you engage in while playing.

TIP! Be certain you are standing correctly to get the right golf swing. Your position plays a large role in the distance that your shot will achieve.

If your shot tends to head off to the right, you are most likely sliding your body to the left while swinging. When practicing a downswing, learn to release your hands faster to reduce the affect your body has on the ball’s direction. Having the consistent ability to release your hands quickly will help your shots to be accurate.

Yes, few things offer the serenity and relaxation of the outdoors with the athletic challenge of golf. As Hunter S.

Don’t just take our word for it!

"This system has taken me from sprayin my drives all over the place to being able to put my shots on or near the fairway with some measure of consistency. I have much control over where the ball goes now. When I played last Friday my buddies noticed that I'm hitting them better.

I love the confidence I have in my game now. Before I just wanted to hit the ball. Now I hit that pretty draw and my friends say OOOOOHHH!!!"

"My fairway woods are now much more consistent in distance and much straighter, both off the tee and from the fairway. Also my mid iron shots are more consistent than in the past.

This system helped me to learn to put all the pieces together to know what a good swing should feel like. Whereas in the past someone might give me a good piece of advice, but I never had it in the context of a whole solid swing. And now I'm finally gaining confidence with my swing.

The instructions were easy to follow. The pictures added a lot of clarity to what you were looking to emulate. The "Draw" System gives you a step by step approach to building a good, solid, repeatable golf swing. All the drills are geared towards that singular goal of producing a swing that will produce a draw.

I've seen a lot of the drills used in The "Draw" System, but this is the first time where I've seen all the drills tied together in order to produce the "whole" good swing. And I'm finally learning what a good swing should feel like, (after years of unsuccessful guessing), and can try to recreate that sensation on the course.

I enjoy playing golf more now because I can actually start aiming at where I want to hit the ball. And I'm having a lot more fun actually hitting a lot more often from the fairway!

A very good, useful book! Thanks for compiling all the information and drills to help me understand and incorporate the swing mechanics in order to produce a draw."
