TIP! It’s always best to walk the golf course, instead of using a golf cart to get around. This turns your golf outing into an exercise outing, as well, which will do wonders for your health if you golf every week.

There are many reasons why people love golf, whether they like relaxing on the course or are drawn to the thrill of competition. The tips you will find below can help you improve your game. They can give you that edge that you need to lower your score while, at the same time, making the most of your time on the greens.

TIP! When you’re on the market for new clubs, consult with golf pros before you make your final purchase. A professional should be able to help you with this important decision.

You can implement this subtle research into your own style, which helps create a stance and methodology that is perfect for you. Your stance is important, but since everyone is unique, it is impossible to to determine the proper stance without experimentation. Your game will see significant improvement if you can find the proper stance.

TIP! You’ll find that your whole body becomes completely engaged when playing golf. Using just your arms will not give you the same amount of power for your swing as using your whole body.

It is a good idea to skip the golf cart and walk the course when you are golfing. You will get more exercise, which in turn is great for your health! Walking is also a good way to warm up before and during play.

TIP! There is a “sweet spot” on every golf club, which is where you always want to hit the ball to get the best accuracy. Practice with clubs to find their sweet spot, and remember to have those spots contact with your ball on your downswing.

Regarding the game of golf, try not to obsess over it. You are sure to make mistakes. If you can laugh and take them in stride, it will help you relax and get on with your game.

TIP! Keep focused on the next shot, forget those before it. Make sure you do not let a bad shot get the best of you.

Be sure that all of your attention is dedicated towards your next shot. Do not let the previous successful or unsuccesful shot, or the upcoming water hazard, take you away from the hit you are about to make. Stressing over bad shots has been the downfall of many players, so learn to let go.

TIP! When you are gripping the putter and standing over the ball, your left hand should be in front of the ball. If you can keep your hands in this position through the putt, it increases your chances for a smooth roll every time.

A helpful tip when it comes to golf is to know how to keep score. This is vital for the reason that your score is considered to be representative of your skill as a golfer. Every time you hit the ball counts as a stroke, and the total number of strokes you get from tee to hole is your cumulative score for that hole. The less strokes it takes to get the ball in the hole, the better your score.

TIP! If possible, watch and golf with stronger players to observe their technique. There are various ways to benefit from a pro golfer.

Have a neutral grip for your club. If your grip is too tight, you will likely steer your shots to the right. If you’re holding the club too loosely, it tends to veer to the left. You can correct your grip based on which direction your ball takes.

TIP! So you need to drink lots of water and do your stretches before you play. Staying in good shape can benefit your golf game directly.

Align your front heel with the ball before you swing with your driver. Place the ball squarely between your feet for all other swing types. The only exception to this is when your ball lies on a slope.

TIP! It is important to know the proper way to keep score when playing golf. This is vital for the reason that your score is considered to be representative of your skill as a golfer.

Try some of the tips above, and watch as your game improves. Utilizing it will get you better scores and a win against your top rival. Put these tips to use and your game will definitely improve.

Don’t just take our word for it!

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."

"My fairway woods are now much more consistent in distance and much straighter, both off the tee and from the fairway. Also my mid iron shots are more consistent than in the past.

This system helped me to learn to put all the pieces together to know what a good swing should feel like. Whereas in the past someone might give me a good piece of advice, but I never had it in the context of a whole solid swing. And now I'm finally gaining confidence with my swing.

The instructions were easy to follow. The pictures added a lot of clarity to what you were looking to emulate. The "Draw" System gives you a step by step approach to building a good, solid, repeatable golf swing. All the drills are geared towards that singular goal of producing a swing that will produce a draw.

I've seen a lot of the drills used in The "Draw" System, but this is the first time where I've seen all the drills tied together in order to produce the "whole" good swing. And I'm finally learning what a good swing should feel like, (after years of unsuccessful guessing), and can try to recreate that sensation on the course.

I enjoy playing golf more now because I can actually start aiming at where I want to hit the ball. And I'm having a lot more fun actually hitting a lot more often from the fairway!

A very good, useful book! Thanks for compiling all the information and drills to help me understand and incorporate the swing mechanics in order to produce a draw."
