TIP! If you have the opportunity, ask a professional his or her opinion on a club, or certainly on a set of new clubs you are considering purchasing. The information they can provide will be instrumental in purchasing the correct clubs for you, because they can tell you which type will fit you best and data about cutting edge products.

Take one look around your local golf course and you’ll see the beauty of nature inherent in the game, which holds an attraction not found elsewhere. If you have the desire to take advantage of what golf has to offer, take the time to read the advice in this article.

TIP! Your body can really help you out in the sport of golf. It is important not to rely on just the arms, but instead to utilize both the upper and lower body together as a solid unit.

Exercise your toes to figure out faults in your stance when golfing. You should be able to wiggle your toes easily; if you can’t do so, you’re leaning too far forward. Ideally, your stance should allow for just enough backward lean to allow for movement in the feet.

TIP! One of the first things you will want to address when learning how to play golf is your grip. It is very common for players to tighten their grip on a club, hoping it helps them hit the ball even farther.

It is crucial that you maintain all of your minds focus on the shot that you will be making the next time it is your turn to swing. You don’t want to let anything around you alter your success, don’t let any unsuccessful shots or something like water make you worse. Worrying about mistakes or hazards will take your mind off the current swing. Put them aside, and focus on the present.

TIP! Wiggling the toes may offer insight into problems with one’s golf stance. Try to take a swing, if you are having difficulty wiggling your toes while doing so, then you are leaning in too far in favor of the ball.

A great tip for putting is when you address the ball, your left hand needs to be in front of the ball. Swing your club while retaining this position during your stroke. This keeps the ball from falling off the club’s face when contact is made.

TIP! D

Before you go to play stretch and drink a lot of water, for this reason. Giving proper attention to your body will help you make improvements in your golf game.

TIP! Line your front foot with the ball when driving. Every other shot requires that your ball is between your feet as you swing.

For a drive swing, align the ball with your front foot. Place the ball squarely between your feet for all other swing types. The only exception to this generalization is when your ball is on an incline.

Mental preparedness is as critical in a good game of golf, as is physical preparedness. Clear your mind and concentrate on the game.

Golf Club

TIP! Maintaining the same position for all your shots is a good strategy. This will help ingrain your stance and keep it consistent.

Prior to buying a golf club, consider getting one custom-fitted to your specifications. The right golf club needs to be suited to your weight, height, and body structure. A club which perfectly fits your needs will lead to a perfect swing.

TIP! As you swing, quickly swing your hips so you transfer the weight from your back foot to your front foot. In this way, you will increase the force of the swing and your ball will go farther.

Before you purchase any golf club, be sure to check your club heads! An overused club will have a shiny spot on the head. This wear means less action from the grooves in the club that are designed to give you the best chance for distance and accuracy.

TIP! Hit the ball squarely with the club’s face. Doing this will help your ball to go straight.

No matter what you may have heard, retain the same position for your ball for every one of your shots. This will help to improve the consistency of your game. When you need loft in the clubs, bring the back food forward towards the front one and speed up the loft but keep the ball position. This allows you to use the correct club in each situation.

It is true that golf courses are a great environment in which to relax and enjoy your surroundings. As Hunter S.

Don’t just take our word for it!

"This system has given me a better understanding of the mechanics of the swing which I could not get through lessons. After completing this system my drives are much straighter, but the biggest benefit has been with my fairway woods.

This system is a ready reference for anytime I want to refresh the mechanics of my swing. I have seen similar instructions in other books etc. but never laid out in the same detailed way as your system.

This "Draw" System has given me more enjoyment because I finally feel I can work the ball either way now. I'm on a 10.5 hcp and The "Draw" System is what I need to help me get down to a single figure handicap."

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."
