TIP! Consider walking the golf course, rather than using a cart. Walking the course will drastically increase the level of exercise you get, which will turn your game into a really great method for improving your fitness level! Walking is also a good way to warm up before and during play.

There are millions of people all over the world who enjoy playing golf, but they are nearly always searching for ways in which they can improve their game. The tips here are going to help you whip that game into shape and sink deep below par!

TIP! For beginner golfers, learning to grip the club properly is key. A majority of people grip their club too tightly, hoping that this will help them hit the ball further.

One way to check for correct posture before you swing is by wiggling your toes. If you have no trouble moving your feet, then you need to reduce the angle at which you are leaning relative to the ball. You want to lean toward the ball enough that your feet have some movement ability, but cannot move too much.

TIP! Use the entire body for power when swinging the golf club. Inexperienced golfers often mistakenly believe that power should come only from the arms.

If at all possible, golf with strong players and pay attention to their technique. There are plenty of ways that you can benefit from a talented golfer. You don’t have to be in the presence of a pro. Anyone who is better than you can help. Watching how they play can give you many ideas and they may just help you play stronger.

TIP! You can find flaws in your stance by using a toe-wiggling exercise. If a golfer leans too far over the ball, wiggling their toes will be very difficult.

Therefore, you should stretch prior to every round and make sure to drink sufficient amounts of water. Taking care of yourself is always important, but it can also help you improve your game.

TIP! Long putts require fast swings. Hit the ball as quickly as possible to propel it forward the greatest distance.

You need to educate yourself on keeping score in golf when you are interested in playing, as it will help you out on the course. Many people live and die by their score, so messing it up will give you a horrible reputation. Each stroke is counted as one point of your score and you can keep track of how many stokes it takes to complete each hole. The fewer strokes it takes, the better your score is.

TIP! For this reason, stretch before you play and drink plenty of water. The better shape your body is in, the better your game will be.

The muscles from your legs to your fingertips will all be used in a successful shot. Swing your body like a whip when you swing and get power from your lower body.

TIP! Use your entire body to put power into your swing. Although you swing the club with your arms, your legs and torso provide the most strength to your swing.

Always start each swing with your feet in proper alignment. This is the best way to improve your swing and it is such a simple and easy thing to do. You want to line up your feet perpendicular to the direction you want the ball to travel. To test whether your feet are pointing in the right direction, touch your club to your toes. Look at the direction the club head points in. This is the same direction the ball is going to move in once you hit it.

What you have just read may very well improve many aspects of your game. Try applying them and watching your game improve.

Don’t just take our word for it!

"This system has taken me from sprayin my drives all over the place to being able to put my shots on or near the fairway with some measure of consistency. I have much control over where the ball goes now. When I played last Friday my buddies noticed that I'm hitting them better.

I love the confidence I have in my game now. Before I just wanted to hit the ball. Now I hit that pretty draw and my friends say OOOOOHHH!!!"

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."
