TIP! When just starting out, it’s important to learn how to properly grip the club. One common mistake is thinking that gripping the club harder will cause the ball to be hit further.

If you’re like thousands of dedicated golfers out there, you are always on the lookout for ways to improve your game. The key to success is practice and a willingness to try new techniques. The following article will give you some great tips for improving your performance on the golf course, and enhancing the game itself.

TIP! A common technique among professional golfers, though it sounds very whimsical, is the toe-wiggling exercise. If it is difficult to wiggle your toes when preparing to swing your club, this indicates you are leaning too far towards the ball.

You must learn a correct grip as soon as you begin playing golf. People often try to grab the golf club too hard, they think the ball will go much further. Try to use a soft, but firm grip on your club to maximize your swinging potential. Imagine that you are cradling a wounded bird and use the same care to grip the club.

TIP! Wiggling your toes just before your stroke is a good indicator of your readiness for a good swing. If you have free movement of your feet without any problems, then you may be too far from the ball.

Exercise your toes to figure out faults in your stance when golfing. When a golfer is leaning into the swing too far, their toes will usually become difficult to wiggle and suggests that the golfer should adjust backwards to prevent a nasty shot. Proper posture for golfers can be obtained by leaning back until there is some play in the feet.

TIP! There is a “sweet spot” on every golf club, which is where you always want to hit the ball to get the best accuracy. Get familiar with each club’s sweet spot.

One way to check for correct posture before you swing is by wiggling your toes. Your feet should have restricted movement to ensure you are leaning properly. You need to lean slightly into the ball in order for your feet to move just a bit. Make sure your feet do not move too far.

TIP! If you are faced with a very long putt, you should devote most of your concentration to the speed with which you hit the ball. Don’t aim directly for the hole.

Golf is a game and should be fun, not stressful. You will be able to relax and have fun if you recognize that mistakes happen to everyone and are simply a necessary part of the learning process.

TIP! A neutral grip is best. Holding your club too tightly when you swing will usually make your shots turn right instead of going straight.

When you are gripping the putter and standing over the ball, your left hand should be in front of the ball. Hold this position as the putter strikes the ball and you complete your stroke. This helps to keep the ball from bouncing too hard off the club face, and will also hold the club firmly in your grasp.

TIP! For a drive swing, align the ball with your front foot. If you are going to swing, the ball should be placed between your feet.

Try to focus on the speed that you hit the golf ball when you are going for a long putt. Rather than aiming right for the hole, aim for somewhere before the hole. You will set up a short putt for yourself and not run the risk of hitting the ball too far or not far enough.

TIP! Consider getting custom-fitted when buying a club. No two golfers are exactly alike, so it naturally follows that no single club works equally well for all golfers.

All of this advice may not pertain to you, but we’re sure you now know things you did not know before about playing a better game of golf. Implement some new techniques, switch up your swing or get a better grip, and you will soon discover yourself winning more rounds and a much greater enjoyment of this great game of golf!

Don’t just take our word for it!

"The "Draw" System has improved my consistency. I am able to keep my drives on the fairway with more distance which makes my second shot easier while approaching the green.

The biggest benefits The "Draw" System has done for my game is to increase distance and accuracy with all shots. The "Draw" System has increased my distance on all shots by 15 to 30 yards! Thirty yards with the driver all the way down to 15 with the sand wedge.

What I liked the best about The "Draw" System is that it works! I have tried all types of gadgets and read tips from all different magazines as well as taken lessons. None of them worked. Not until I found The "Draw" System.

I have seen different systems which claim to fix your golf slice but none of these have worked for me. The "Draw" System works! In it are easy to follow instructions and there are very good pictures for a visual explanation to go along with the print.

I enjoy playing golf more since completing The "Draw" System because I can predict where my shots are going instead of wondering where my shots will end up. Thank You!!!"

"After following this system I am hitting the ball more solidly and have learnt not to 'overhit' attempting to get that extra 'meter.' The biggest benefit The "Draw" System has done is to give me a more consistent strike of the ball - I actually had a 100 meter wedge back-spin to the hole today.

Also this system has eliminated a tendency for my drives to fade/slice and I have seen videos that were basically aiming at the same objective but didn't provide the clear steps to work through like your system does."
