TIP! This helps you determine your best stance. Based on a variety of physical attributes, finding your proper stance may look much different than the best stance for other golfers you play with.

If you’re one of the many that enjoys golf, you may want to better your game. The tips here are going to help you whip that game into shape and sink deep below par!

TIP! Try walking, instead of renting yourself a golf cart. This is very beneficial to your health as you will be increasing your exercise on the course.

You can implement this subtle research into your own style, which helps create a stance and methodology that is perfect for you. The key is proper stance, but it isn’t the same for everyone. Determining the right stance is a must for any serious player.

TIP! A good piece of golf advice is to look into consulting with a golf pro before choosing which clubs to purchase. Golf pros often have an impressive knowledge of all the newest clubs available on the market, and they’ll also have a good idea what sort of club will be best for you.

Don’t take golf too seriously. You are sure to make mistakes. If you can laugh and take them in stride, it will help you relax and get on with your game.

TIP! Be sure that all of your attention is dedicated towards your next shot. Do not let the previous successful or unsuccesful shot, or the upcoming water hazard, take you away from the hit you are about to make.

Focus on how you will proceed with the next shot. Don’t dwell on a bad play at the previous hole, or worry about what’s up ahead, but concentrate on the task at hand. Dwelling on mistakes is going to affect your game negatively. Stay focused, and move on.

TIP! If you need to make a long putt, focus mostly on the speed that you hit the ball with. Try to hit a target in between your current location and the hole, rather than trying to get the ball in the hole using only one shot.

Place your left hand ahead when you address the ball while putting. Maintain this position while you complete your swing. You will then be able to hold the position of your golf club and stop the ball from going off the front of the club.

Aim Directly

TIP! Do not assume a golfing stance that feels unnatural to you. Try to address the ball without using a club.

For long putts, concentrate on hitting the ball with the correct speed. Don’t aim directly for the hole. Instead, carefully read your putt, then aim directly at a target between you and the hole. This strategy will likely shorten the distance required of your second putt.

Stretch before playing and stay hydrated. Tending to your body’s needs will help you play your best game.

Golf Club

TIP! Maximize your golf ball hitting power by not bringing the club back to far. Pulling back too far will ruin your posture and cause you to hit the ball incorrectly or even swing right past it entirely.

Use a neutral grip on your golf club. If you hold your golf club too tight, your shots will have a tendency to veer off to the right. However, failing to grip the club tightly enough will cause the ball to veer to the left. Monitor whether your shots pull to either the left or right to see what type of changes you may need to make to your grip.

TIP! Focus on the short game when you don’t have much time to practice. Work on your chipping and putting abilities.

Closely examine the head of any used club you consider buying. In many cases, clubs that have undergone extensive use will have a shiny spot on the head. This isn’t going to help your game because the club will slap your ball, rather than hit it.

TIP! It is important that you stay alert during a game of golf. Be ready for your shot when your turn comes up.

Always stand about three to five feet behind the golf ball and look ahead to where you need to send it. Keep in mind the wind and any other weather conditions that might affect your stroke. This sort of mental preparation for hitting the ball will pay off in improved alignment and shot direction, so take your time. Once you have all these factors determined and pieced together, you can address the ball confidently, knowing you have the destination in mind.

TIP! To help swing a golf club properly, you need to have a good grip. Having a good grip on the club will allow you to hit different types of shots.

You can use some of the tips you just read to improve whatever aspects of your game you’re most interested in. Now you just need to apply the advice in the tips when you next visit your favorite golf course.

Don’t just take our word for it!

Although the system is meant to improve your draw, in fact it has improved other areas of my game e.g. my setup and accuracy. I am now consistently hitting the ball cleanly and going in the direction I want it to. I think these are the benefits of the various drills and exercises you suggested.

The "Draw" System has narrowed the exercise and search for improving my game because everything is presented in a neat package without having to search all of them individually.

Being new to the game I did wonder why certain drills and exercises were recommended. In the end I did find out they were great. The instructions are explained very simply and easy to follow but as I said I did wonder initially what they had to do with trying to draw the ball. The answers came in the end.

I used to slice the ball badly before but now I can hit it straight or if it goes right it is not as bad as before, at least it still stays on the fairway. It is a great feeling to see that ball stay on the fairway."

"This system has taken me from sprayin my drives all over the place to being able to put my shots on or near the fairway with some measure of consistency. I have much control over where the ball goes now. When I played last Friday my buddies noticed that I'm hitting them better.

I love the confidence I have in my game now. Before I just wanted to hit the ball. Now I hit that pretty draw and my friends say OOOOOHHH!!!"
